Domestic Violence Charges Resolved Through Deferred Prosecution
Client was charged in Prescott Valley Magistrate Court with domestic violence assault, disorderly conduct, and preventing the use of a telephone in an emergency.
After negotiation with the prosecutor, we obtained a deferred prosecution agreement. The client must complete a domestic violence class and remain law abiding for one year. If those conditions are satisfied, the charges will be dismissed.
