Client was charged in Yavapai County Superior Court with felony child abuse, aggravated assault, and aggravated DUI arising from a rollover collision with her young child in the vehicle. After negotiation with the prosecutor, we obtained a plea agreement dismissing the child abuse charge and the dangerous-offense sentencing allegations and allowing the court to impose probation. Client accepted a plea to aggravated assault and aggravated DUI. At sentencing, the court imposed five years of probation and one day in jail, the minimum jail term required for the DUI offense.
